Teeth lacquering

Children’s treatment

Each child (in Lodz conditions) should undergo periodic contact fluoridation surgery. During the follow-up visit an interview is conducted about what the patient's fluoride prophylaxis looks like, e.g. whether the child has fluoridation at school or kindergarten.

If not, then once per three months it is worth to put on milk and permanent teeth varnish containing an increased therapeutic dose of fluoride ions. Such exogenous fluoridation significantly reduces the risk of caries, and in the case of existing caries, it slows down the rate of its progression.

After the visit, it is recommended to avoid eating and drinking for about two hours.
