Preventive treatments

Now is the high time to take care of caries and hypersensitivity most effectively.

Fluoride varnish is applied on cleaned, dry teeth, which contains more fluoride ions than an ordinary toothpaste and is intended only for use in the dental office. It is usually recommended that the patient after fluoridation avoids eating and drinking for two hours so that the varnish is well absorbed.

Varnishing is also extremely effective in the treatment of tooth sensitivity, which is one of the biggest ills for a large group of patients. Fluoride closes open dentinal tubules, eliminating pain sensations.
