Methods of malocclusion treatment

Orthodontics

Among young children, malocclusion is usually mild and can be eliminated by simple methods such as reeducation of breathing and chewing, facial muscle exercises, filing of tooth nodules with insufficient abrasion, or using the vestibule.

In the event that there is no chance to obtain satisfactory results with the help of simple means, it becomes necessary to make an orthodontic appliance.

Among children who have not completed the process of jaw bone growth and alveolar processes, a removable orthodontic appliance may be taken, i.e. removable.

If the development of the skeletal system has already been completed, i.e. in adolescents and adults, permanent braces are performed.
