Implants - for whom?

An implant is the most perfect way for supplementation almost in any case.

The simplest clinical situation is the lack of a single tooth. For many years, the best way to make up for this lack was the prosthetic bridge, but its implementation required the grinding of adjacent teeth. Implant insertion does not require such interference - the adjacent teeth remain intact.

Another situation is the defect of the wings, and therefore the deficiencies of the last molars, where making a bridge is impossible at all. Then, in addition to the implant, we can only choose a removable denture, which is associated with worse comfort.

The second important role of implants is the stabilization of complete dentures at toothlessness. These prostheses are known to be based entirely on the gum, which is associated with poor stabilization. The implantation of several implants stabilizes the prosthesis and solves this problem.

These are just a few of the possible clinical situations where implant placement is justified. In each individual case, we help find the optimal, most beneficial solution for the patient.
